Fresh Gocco Supplies!

I'm so excited to have received my fresh Gocco supplies. I ordered my Print Gocco kit over a year ago, used it a couple times, and made the mistake of creating my screens before I really had settled on a great design - I was way too eager to start printing. I wasn't thrilled with my design choices.

Then, life happened: I was expecting my first baby, working an office job, finishing college, moving, and running the rest of my craft business, so the Gocco kind of took a back seat. We moved twice last year, and now that we're finally settled in Chicago, the Gocco has come out of the box. I contemplated selling it, but I thought it deserved one more try.

I have some FANTASTIC ideas that I am just bursting at the seams to create, and I vow that this time I will really think through my designs before I flash those bulbs and burn those screens. I have been studying new techniques, and I'm actually already planning my Gocco-printed holiday cards.

Sometimes I just feel so energized and inspired, and today is one of those days. It makes me wish there were many more hours in the day. I want to stay up and keep creating and blogging, but I know Madeleine will wake up at 7:00 AM regardless of when I go to bed, so I had better get to bed now.
